This is so true!
DANI was started by parents who needed a place for their children to feel secure, learn more about the next stage of their lives, becoming young adults, yet still maintain a lasting relationship and be included in the Toronto Jewish community.
It is so heartwarming to see that people all over North America are recognizing this growing need and working tirelessly to do something about it.
We applaud you.

A great time was had by all.
The afternoon started with a fabulous Israeli style lunch and a ceremonious lighting of Chanukah candles by our MP, Mark Adler.
During lunch each of our young adults, volunteers and staff had a chance to sit and talk with our government representatives about DANI and what it means to them and how wonderful it is to see our government as well as the Israeli representative to Canada come out to support them. Afterwards everyone had the opportunity to join in our music program where we sang Chanukah songs with some Israeli flavor.
Seeing DANI’s accomplishments in the a span of five short years is truly inspiring. What began as a small grassroots organization, on the hunt for a place to service the needs of their children in the Jewish community and greater Toronto to a fully non-profit organization doing that and so much more is amazing! We are getting there! Every day we grow a little bit more and reach out to even more people.
On behalf of DANI, we would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who had a hand in the organization of this event and to all those individuals who came out.]]>
DANI December Day is a new, innovative way to raise funds and promote awareness throughout our community. We have over 40 stores that have agreed to help us in our efforts.
Each store has agreed to do something! They are handing out DANI information, menus, catering magnets and some stores are giving out COR certified (Cholov Yisroel) cinnamon buns to their patrons. Along with promoting DANI and raising awareness these stores have generously agreed to donate a percentage of their total sales on December 15 (tomorrow!) to DANI.
How amazing are these people?!
We here at DANI, truly appreciate how excited people are about this new initiative.
Thank you everyone for your help in soliciting stores, delivering packages, baking buns, putting together packages, displaying our items and most of all shopping tomorrow!
We really treasure all of our volunteers and people who take the time out of their lives and make the effort to support us in any way they can.

Everyone at DANI had a great time at our annual Chanukah Party.
Kayla came out to play and we all had a fabulous time! There were games, face painting, food and lots of other fun activities.
We would like to thank Debbie and Jay Waks for sponsoring this wonderful event in loving memory of Pearl and Henry Saperia z’l.
