Investing in Impact: Trusted Partnerships for a Better Future

TRUSTED PARTNERSHIPS

PARTNER HIGHLIGHT

DANI received a 2025 Community Impact Award from the PepsiCo Foundation, recognizing our work supporting vocational initiatives for neurodivergent adults.

PepsiCo employees hosted focus group sessions where our community could share direct feedback on universal product packaging design, to help PepsiCo create packaging solutions that are more accessible for everyone. They also shared their expertise by leading merchandising workshops, helping our job-seekers to add valuable skills to their resumes.

We empower meaningful change through partnerships built on the principle of 'do something with us, not for us,' recognizing the strength of shared action. The Azrieli Foundation, a leader in philanthropy, is committed to making a difference through education and community initiatives. Together, we bring expertise, resources, and a shared vision to make a lasting impact.

Five things we learned about inclusion, from PepsiCo

Accessible design makes products better for everyone

When products are created with neurodivergent and disabled users in mind, the result is a product that’s easier to use, clearer to understand, and more intuitive for everyone. Consider a curb ramp, originally designed for wheelchair users, but now used by cyclists, parents with strollers and delivery workers.

The people closest to the barrier of the best consultants

The best advocacy is achieved within the framework of ‘nothing about us without us’. When assumptions are made about what neurodivergent people need or want, the result often doesn’t actually meet the needs of the people they aimed to serve. By inviting DANI to contribute to the conversation, Pepsi Co is ensuring they are investing in solutions and not assumptions.

Workplace inclusion goes beyond hiring

During our time at Pepsi, Co, we had the opportunity to meet with their EnAble Employee Resource group, whose mission is to “[empower] individuals with both apparent and non-apparent disabilities as well as caregivers, and allies, through resources, advocacy, and support.” PepsiCo is going beyond hiring exclusively by engaging and ongoing advocacy, education, and support for all of its employees.

Opening doors looks different for everyone

For many neurodivergent adults, barriers to employment aren’t always about ability, they’re often about access, opportunity, and exposure. When PepsiCo employees volunteered at their time to network and teach neurodivergent adult adults at DANI, they were giving them access to advice and knowledge from industry, professionals, and proof that what they need isn’t a lower bar, it’s simply a seat at the table.

Inclusion is a culture, not a slogan

Too often, inclusion is simply a buzz word—not a true value to live by. At PepsiCo, we could feel true inclusion in the culture; in the way neurodivergent adults are spoken to, respected, and treated with dignity as equal, valued, members of the community.
